What temperature water is digital heat able to produce?

Our digital heat solution is able to consistently and efficiently heat water over 50°C. The maximum inlet temperature is 50°C.

Our solution is able to pre-heat or prime the water should higher temperatures be needed.

How is digital heat priced?

Our pricing is made simple for our heating customers. The customers only pay for the heat that our servers produce and not for the servers themselves.

All electricity our servers consume turns into heat and we give a fixed discount for the price of that energy. Contact us to get an evaluation on your premises.

What is 'digital heat'?

What we at Northeast Flow call 'digital heat' is born as a side product from running high-performance servers. Our digital heat servers are installed to our heating customer's building. Once operational and running, the heat is captured and distributed to the building's heating system.

What type of computation do the digital heat servers do?

Our digital heat servers do high performance computation, namely at the moment blockchain computation. The computation we do helps enable to cost-savings we are able to generate for our heating customers.

In the future we plan to explore other methods of computation to generate digital heat that would be suitable for the specific needs of heat production. These could be such things as AI computing, complex simulations or big data processing.

Who owns the servers?

Northeast Flow retains the ownership of the servers installed at any location. This also enables the low-to-no upfront cost for the installation of our servers.

What if no heat is needed - will the servers still be on?

No the servers will only run when needed. They are connected to the building's heating automation system, which regulates when heat is needed and automatically adjusts its heat needs.

Does digital heat work alongside other heating methods?

Yes, Northeast Flow's digital heat solution is especially designed to work alongside other forms of heating as well as a secondary heating method. Whether it is district heating, fossil fuels or electricity that forms the basis of a buildings heating system our heating method can work alongside this.
