At Northeast Flow, we combine high performance computation and heat generation.

In 2018, we saw the growing need for computing power and the potential to put the excess heat it generates to good use. We started our journey by piloting our idea together with the Finnish Museum of Technology. After some years of hard work and countless operating hours, we were able to demonstrate that our ‘digital heat’ concept works efficiently and helps to lower overall heating costs.

Today, we’re happy to say that our digital heat solution is already up and running in multiple locations all over Finland. And this is just the start of our journey. 

Our vision extends far beyond. Globally, almost half of the energy used in buildings is for heating water and the building space itself. Meanwhile, data centers use about 1.5% of the worlds’ electricity. And that number is growing annually by 20%. Our mission is to seamlessly combine these two together to realise a smarter and more energy efficient world.
